California Landscape Contractors Association is a non-profit trade organization of state licensed landscape and landscape related limited specialty contractors. CLCA's membership, totals approximately 2,800 individuals and companies.

California Landscape Contractors Association was incorporated in 1952, although it has been holding association meetings since 1937. They celebrated their 50 year anniversary on November 2002 in Hawaii - Congratulations!

California Landscape Contractors Association serves the interests of its members, promotes professionalism, and advances awareness of the landscape industry.

California Landscape Contractors Association members are licensed by the state of California and regulated by the Contractors State License Board for the protection of the consumer.

California Landscape Contractors Association also is an active force in the statewide effort to conserve water. The association educates the landscape industry and the public on the subject of water-efficient landscape management. Many CLCA members are invaluable resources for consultations on planning, installing, and maintaining water efficient landscapes.
